HALLOWEEN CABARET / GENERAL CALL

We are seeking local actor/singers for a Halloween Cabaret to be performed at the Dramatic Hall in Peekskill “Halloween at the Hall”.  We would also like to meet talent for upcoming projects.

SHOWS: Oct 17,18,19  24, 25  30, 31 & Nov 2

Rehearsals will be Tuesdays 7-10 pm, Thursdays 7:30-10 pm and Sunday afternoons OR evenings beginning 9/15. 

Pay is $500 for rehearsals and $100 per performance.  8 performances are scheduled.

THIS AUDITION WILL ALSO BE A GENERAL CALL FOR FUTURE PRODUCTIONS. EVEN IN IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE HALLOWEEN SHOW, PLEASE COME MEET US AND SING SO WE CAN CONSIDER YOU FOR THE FUTURE!

Be prepared with two contrasting songs.  Our MD, Gerry Micera will be there to accompany - or bring music on a device or sing a cappella.  Those wishing to be considered for “Halloween at the Hall” please get familiar with the song listed for your type. MALE PRESENTING:

BEETLEJACK – Baritenor. 20s-40s. Tall, thin, charismatic, comedic, with serious acting chops.  Transforms from Beetlejuice to Lurch to Jack Skellington and more!  Guitar skills a plus!

FRANKENPUGS – Tenor. 20s-30s. Smaller stature, strong actor with good comic timing.  Transforms from Puglsley to Lock (of Lock/Shock/Barrel) and Young Frankenstein and more!    Guitar skills a plus!

IGORMEZ - Baritenor. 40s+ Mature, strong actor, comedic timing and movement.  Transforms from Gomez to Psychedelic band singer to Igor and more!  (CAST: Mario Giacalone)

OOGIEMON – Baritone. 20s+ Large presence, strong actor with comic undertones. Transforms from Uncle Fester to Ooogie Boogie to Frankenstein’s Creature and more!

LYDIAWEDSAL – Soprano/Belt.  20s-30s  Petite, quirky comedic but sweet. Transforms from Lydia Deets to Wednesday Adams to Sally in Nightmare Before Christmas.

GRAINGAWITCH- Soprano/ Belt.  30s-40s  Soubrette. Killer voice and sultry vibe. Also willing to be comedic and kooky!  Transforms from Lead Druid to Grandma Adams to Sexy Witch to Barrel (of Lock/Shock/Barrel) to Inga & more!

MORTICIBLUH – Mezzo/Belt.  40+  Mature entertainer, dancer, comedic. Transforms from Morticia to Stock (of Lock/Shock/Barrel) to Fraulein Blucher and more!  (CAST: Katie Schmidt Feder)
