What is Theatre in the Wood?
Most of us can look back into our memory and recall a special night out with someone or a group of special people in a place that seemed so magical and unique that it was almost like we were transported to another time and place. The atmosphere was unique, the food was spectacular, maybe even the fragrances of flowers, the glow of candles, or the crackling of a fire still fill our minds. If we were lucky, there was also entertainment that lifted the spirit and fed our soul as well.

Theatre in the Wood is a new type of entertainment and dining experience that combines the magic of theatre with the art of rustic culinary excellence.
Our vision encompasses a little of the nostalgia and fun of dinner theatres of the past with higher-level culinary expectations in a romantic, historically-inspired setting.

Theatre in the Wood will bring professional theatre to the beautiful lower Hudson Valley in a place that is easily accessible to communities located in Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, and Western Connecticut counties, while also being only one hour north of Manhattan. In phase one, we will be using various venues to introduce our concept to audiences in the region – until we have the resources to build the multi-use space we envision.
